General Information

All of our classes will provide you with a certificate of completion required to apply to the state for your license. In addition, we will provide notarized affidavits, passport photos, application packets, current law book. The only thing you will have left to do is to obtain your fingerprints from a certified electronic finger printing service.

New CHL Class

This class is geared towards someone who does not hold a current TX CHL, or whose TX CHL has been expired for more than one year. This class will cover all the legal requirements for obtaining a new TX CHL, including the range qualification requirements. More Info

Renewal CHL Class

This class is geared towards someone who holds a current TX CHL that will be expiring within 6 months, or whose CHL has been expired less than one year. This class will cover all the legal requirements for obtaining a renewal TX CHL, including the range qualification requirements. More Info

Private CHL Class

This class is geared towards a person or couple who would prefer private, one-on-one instruction for the purposes of obtaining a new / renewal CHL. This class will cover all the legal requirements for obtaining a renewal or new TX CHL, including the range qualification. More Info

Custom CHL Class

If you have a group that would like to hold a CHL class at your location or limited to your party, we can accommodate you anywhere in the State of Texas. You will need to call or email to make special arrangements. Cost will be determined based on the travel distance and the number of participants. More Info

Basic Handgun Proficiency Class

This class is designed for students interested in obtaining a Texas CHL, but who have very limited to no experience shooting. This class teaches the basics of gun safety, gun terminology, and basic marksmanship. For safety reasons, we limit this class to no more than 2 people (if they are together). Taking this class will qualify you for a 25% discount for a CHL class with us. More Info

^†25% discount offered to military (active duty or retired), senior citizens, firefighters, law enforcement officers, and students who have completed a Basic Proficiency Class with us. Proof of eligibility is required to receive discount.
^‡Firearm must be a 32 caliber or larger, and a semi-automatic weapon is highly recommended. If you qualify with a revolver, then you will only be licensed to carry a revolver, but if you qualify with a semi-automatic you will be able to choose either semi-automatic or revolver.
